My story

J.P. Bellipanni...

is originally from Boulder, Colorado. He was an undergraduate at Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA, which is how he was introduced to the East Coast. After college, he studied culinary arts at the Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts in Florence, Italy. After that, he worked as the head chef of the restaurant, ‘‘Caffe Antica Roma in Boulder, Colorado. 

After receiving his Master’s degree in English from the University of Colorado at Boulder and his Master's of Fine Arts in Writing from the University of Southern Maine, Stonecoast he has published one book of short stories, "Slippery Devils: Collected Stories," and three books about teaching writing: "Word: Creative & Critical Composition", "The Naked Story: A Concise Guide to Metafiction," and "Fifty Stories: How to Read and Write Experimental Fiction."

J.P. Bellipanni taught writing for over twenty years at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He has taught in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
